If a man wishes to have peace in himself, to have a permanent center of gravity, he must first learn how to maneuver through the constancy of external influences?

Here is a way that may help.

    1. Begin each day with an affirmation of one’s existence and one’s uniqueness.

    2. Envision the flow of the anticipated events of the day and imagine yourself, see yourself, acting consciously as you pass through them.

    3. Constate this: I am the Actor…..I am the Director…..I am the Producer.

    4. Produce, in your mind, your own drama for the day; then direct yourself through it. Demand as many "takes" as necessary for an Oscar nomination, and yes…..always pause for photographs.

    5. As you move through the day, see it all as a play: Act 1, Scene II, etc. Have conversations with the Director after each scene, so you will be better rehearsed for a future performance.

    6. Change performances where you can. Example: In your "getting ready in the morning performance", you could take the role of a timid man on one day, or a man in a rush on another, or a young person in love, or a de-thawed iceman who is discovering the bathroom for the first time, or a guy with a bad hangover, or a carefree innocent, and so on.

    7. REMEMBER…..it is YOUR RIGHT to DIRECT YOURSELF each day.
Take it like you find it and make it like you want it!

    8. Finally, when the day is over, always remember to applaud your performance!

With fond affections for all, I AM,

    Russ
