[thedog] Sarah> In a symbolis enneagram there are 10 lines ( 6, 3, and the line of the circle). A math based on a 10 didget number system gives us the math of .142857, which is the line of supervision. Other than that, 10 is a fill in between 9 & 11.

[thedog] symon> I have heard of “how well you are doing with your mom”. And her changed impression of you.

[jperrott] gary> To my mind, there is more than just automatic intention involved in listening. Real listening also involves the pores of the skin!

[Tony] thedog> General question: Are the 3 Seeker ways objective?

[thedog] When people stopped listening, the called it poreing from the empty into the void

[thedog] Tony> Good Question. It is law conformable that they exist. As to them being objective…If only one of them was, then there would be only one of them, as everybody would be in fluenced by that one…but since they are not, they must not be Objective Ways.

[MigueAngel] Cuando Auto-observamos, no hay juicios y nos damos cuenta que “la máquina” es la que está experimentando la fricción. Y entonces, desde esa “auto-observación” ya es posible usar los ejercicios. Si los usamos solamente por el “saber” estamos topeando, amortiguando, o usando mecanismos de defensa.

[Cristina] MigueAngel> Que es amortiguar una emoción?

[MigueAngel] Cristina> Es justificarla, negarla, pensar que la cambiamos cuando en realidad nos la tragamos. Es poner otra cosa en su lugar para no sentir.

[MigueAngel] Y nuestros ejercicios, si no son usados correctamente nos harían amortiguar las fricciones y cualquier negatividad, haciéndonos pensar que estamos trabajando, cuando en realidad estamos amortiguando.

[Cristina] Lo que sucede es que cuando observo una emoción hay en mi una especie de separación que me permite observarla, pues al no expresarla, siento que no hay identificación, reconozco que es la máquina la de la fricción, pero el hacer esta separación me permite usar los ejercicios, es esto incorrecto?
